I'm scheduling classes for my senior year of high school, but I'm having a hard time deciding which courses I should take for a few of my categories. I am on track to graduate with honors.

english : honors english IV (pseo credit)

history : us history 1 and 2 (pseo credit)

foreign language : spanish IV (pseo credit)

elective : marching/concert band

math : ap calculus (*note, this is the only AP class offered at our school)

science : here's the dilemma... do I take physics or anatomy? both are for college credit. I am planning on doing a pre-med major if I don't get into the academy, but I feel like a solid background is physics is probably better for the academy and would help my chances a little bit...

if anyone has any imput, it'd be great. thanks.

Physics!

I agree with swimmer. My DD, currently at USCGA, did not take Physics her senior year in high school. The high school teacher had a reputation of being a poor teacher, so she decided not to take the chance on it. Her lack of Physics may have been one of the reasons she was offered the Scholars program (Prep School) rather than a direct appointment. As it turned out, she liked Physics (had a good prep school teacher, thank goodness:smile:) and has done well in it at the Academy.
