DS was lucky enough to to receive a 3 year scholarship to his number 1 and 4 schools. Clemson and Alabama. I believe he has 30 days to accept. When does that clock start ticking? We haven't visited Alabama yet so need to do so before the acceptance deadline. If he wanted to try to transfer the scholarship to penn state how would he go about that and what is the likelihood of success? Also when can he expect his DODMERB exam? Finally anyone have any input on whether the likelihood of an upgrade is greater at any of those schools. Thanks to everyone in these boards. So much help and great information. Sorry for so many questions!

The acceptance is non binding, so there is no reason not to accept. It is more like an acknowledgement.

I imagine he has to select the school when he accepts the scholarship. Of courser he could request a transfer.
Not sure about the date but you can't go wrong with assuming the date it was written (which I further assume is on the letter).

Give or take a few days it will be 30 days from now. Last year it was 30 days from the day the portal changed.

Thanks. The issue is deciding which school. If he accepts to one can he ask for a transfer after he accepts?

The letter will give the suspense date for acceptance and will include instructions on how to request a transfer of the scholarship.
