When I started my NROTC application I got an email from my coordinator introducing himself. I cannot find that email anywhere. I have tried to search him online, but cannot find him. His name is Captain James C. Bird. I am in Maryland. Any suggestions on how to find him?

As a Maryland guy, you are in the 4th Marine Corps District (MCD) under Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC). Your Officer Selection Officer (OSO) should work out of the Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Frederick MD (and likely spends time in College Park). The Frederick office has good contact info on Facebook, although I don't see your Capt Bird, either. You can also try:

Did you know you can text with Marine Corps Recruiting? Send a text to MARINE (627463) to chat 9a-8:30p EST / 7 days a week.

On LinkedIn, but no email or phone given. But, there is mention of “Executive Officer,” so I searched for a Marine Corps regional or district staff office.

Someone at that second link will know who he is and the contact info, though that might not be his District. Officer recruiters usually work out of an area staff office, not the smaller offices in strip malls with enlisted recruiters.

Time to exercise telephone skills!
