Scholarship money

If student wins scholarship from local sources, can that money be deposited into mids account to be used to offset expenses at USNA?

Yes.....depending upon the scholarship requirements. My son has a scholarship of $8000 that ok'd sending it to USNA. It is confusing, but can be done. Some scholarships, that require the funds go for certain things, like tuition, fees, books, etc may not do that since our mids are not paying tuition, fees, etc. Best thing to do is coordinate with the scholarship and USNA Business office.
