DS is an MS-1 at an SMC on an Army 3 yr AD scholarship, so he is hoping to contract at the beginning of the fall semester. His grades were good enough last semester, but he got off to a rocky start this semester, and currently has an F in one class. He took 14.5 credits last semester and is at 14.5 this semester. If he were to drop that one class he would be at 11.5 credits this semester. Would dropping below 12 credits for a single semester run afoul of the scholarship terms, even if he would finish the academic year with 26 credits and a plan to take 6 credits (two courses) this summer?
