Prior posts indicate transfer processing time varies from "wow that sailed through and was approved in a few days" to "I've been waiting for several weeks and can't get an update". This is the summer in ROTC-land and academia, where many key decision makers are either off on personal time off or off on other duties (Marine Month, NSI, other duties) so responses from key decision makers may be delayed. Some people are simply not actively checking their email and are not engaged. If this is a hypothetical, that should answer your question. If this is a real need on an active transfer request, recommend you work with your administrative contact at your unit, or then chain of command at your unit if you're not getting specific responses or updates to track for a status as/ if needed.
