Scholarship uniform stipend

DS received the NROTC National Scholarship and I know he will get reimbursed for the uniform fee. He is attending Norwich which is a Corps of Cadet SMA. Will he be refunded the full costs of the uniform fee (roughly $2300) or just the portion of Navy uniforms he receives? TIA

The uniform fee at Norwich is not covered by the ROTC scholarship nor the ID white. It has to be covered by the student. The NROTC department does give MIDN a uniform stipend sometime before spring break which comes out to around $737.

Other external scholarships can cover the fee. I am apart of the civic scholar program here, and its scholarship covers the uniform fee.

(Also, the uniform fee does get smaller in amount after freshmen year.)
