I've recently started AFROTC ( Not on scholarship ) and haven't been able to get much clear info about the Medical you have to pass before going to Field Training. After reading many online posts about people being DQed for "minor" reasons and I've become rather concerned if it's worth wasting hundreds of hours and money ( Cross-Town ) to just end up being DQed after two years.
So, what I was wondering was is having Scoliosis a major chance to get DQed? Are there reasonable considerations made about it or is it just like an automatic DQ?
I was diagnosed with it when I was about 8 years old, but after that I've never went to a hospital about it. It has never been a problem, I've played in sports through high school and can currently pass the PFT without a problem.
