Should have rescinded his degree while they were at it or sent him a bill for the education.

My guess is he will get a bill for his degree. He didn’t complete his mandatory obligation.

A former student and football player of mine was the class president and first captain in that class. I spoke with him after graduation with words of congratulations and advice, this time from a crusty Senior Chief and no longer his coach. He still calls me coach. Anyway, he, as one can imagine, was an exemplary high school kid and surely by now a stud of a first lieutenant. Rappone and the cadets from that class photoed flashing gang signs or whatever that was are an anomaly. The youth of today have access to technology and information not available just a handful of years ago. They will all be just fine. The outliers will fade away.

My only issue with this whole situation is that he states “he could no longer stomach the immorality of U.S. imperialism," and spoke out in 2017. The part that really gets me is that he graduated and commissioned from WP in 2016, the pictures he posted were while he was at WP. It seems his inability to stomach whatever started long before 2017, what I don't understand is why he stayed at WP for four years, other then the free education of course.

As Devil Doc said, it will be nice to see him just fade away.
