From what I have read, you are basically done doing active ops once you are around a Lt. Commander. Is this true? It won't affect my decision to want to be a SEAL, because if I do get the NROTC scholarship or go o USNA, I plan on serving for 20+ years anyway. Is it like, ridiculously rare for a SEAL to reach Rear Admiral LH? My dream as a SEAL is to not only execute the ops, but to plan them out, and basically be in charge of operations. But anyways, I guess my real question is, what is the highest common rank seals usually reach in a 25 year span?
