SEALs. Not just seals in the Arctic

I guess that's one way to deliver an Amazon package to a submarine. Wonder what they ordered.

... routine... did it 30 years ago.
I'm intrigued. Did you break through the ice in a submarine 30 years ago, deliver a package while riding a snowmobile, or fly the plane that dropped a package on the Arctic ice.

I think he did all three- and at the same time!

The reason I asked is before the SEALs 20-plus year land-locked mission in the Middle East, that part of the world was covered by SEAL Team Two. ST-2 belongs to Naval Special Warfare Group Two and its commodore, Captain Bill Gallagher, was quoted which indicates the previous global assignments are back in place. A good buddy and shipmate of mine, another retired Senior Chief Corpsman, a SEAL, (I was just a grunt corpsman) deployed to the Viking countries in those days wearing civilian clothes and a beard. He had a laminated card he carried when using military facilities stating he was authorized to look like he did. His most interesting stories however involved partying.

The article claims a few "firsts" which sounds probable but publications claim lots of things to get clicks so I just wanted to know if this has truly happened before.
