SECAF Wilson to Resign in May

Wishing Dr. Wilson all the best in her new post as President of the University of Texas at El Paso. I believe she was a causality of the "Space Force" debate running afoul of POTUS & the SECDEF. Secretary Wilson put the AF & it's people first which is the right thing. It's a shame to lose her.

Personally not a surprise as it was reported that President Trump was considering firing her last October.

I would respond that politics aside the right thing isn't the service or its people but the nation and the mission of the department as a whole not just a service.
