Congratulations! Great school choices!

My youngest DD is a UCSB alum. She loved it there as it's one of the most beautiful campus locations around and has excellent academics (she was non-ROTC). However, the AROTC program was almost cut back in 2013.

Also found out I am a 3 yr scholarship winner! Very grateful for this of course! I personally dont come from a wealthy family, and an extra year of tuition payment would really make a difference. Is it possible to bump this to a 4 yr? I plan on doing ROTC anyways with or without the additional year, but I just wanted to help my family out by seeing if I can upgrade it.

I do have a higher SAT score of about 100 points higher than what Cadet Command has on profile for me, and I can turn this in immediately if it matters. Is it possible to bump it before I start college next year?

Means the same as boarded there is no decision made in your case. If your packet was complete by the deadline you have been boarded and as off last week you are still in possible contention for a scholarship as those below the line of possibility have been advised that they will not be receiving an offer. DS didn't get a selection nor a Not possible letter but did have two HBC send him info that there is a new process for those interested in attending a Historically Black College or a Hispanic Serving Institution this is now combined and called the Minority Serving Institution Selection Reservation. There is no requirement to be a minority (DS is the lowest in number but highest represented per capita race Native American) But you do not have to be you just have to want to go to a school that falls in that MSI category. For STEM majors you might want to look at schools like Howard. Don't know if a National no letter stops you from appling to the MSISR option might want to ask one of the Navy recruitment officers.

I have to thank University of Iowa even though not one of DS's schools he had talked to their satellite Coe early on in the search. So DS was on his email list which led to me checking DS's portal And then screaming my head off so that DS came running. 3 yr Howard, AUM or North Georgia (NG only one he doesn't have a acceptance yet since applied right before 2nd board. This gives an FYI to the what changes you can make after being boarded added NG the week before the board.
As excited as are know all too well the level of suck it was to see the selections last board and just wonder Why not your kid. I've seen some kids resumes that were over looked last board that did make me wonder even harder on how those kids definitely deserve it above mine. I would expect them to have gotten the 4 years in this round.
We are SO SO thankful that this is at least going to mean as long as he stays working hard keeping school, ROTC and fitness up only have one year to find the $$ lol. good luck rest of the still sitting on boarded status we are keeping you in our thoughts as well.
 
Congratulations to all those selected this board.

For those not selected don't fret, there is still one more board and the number selected will be similar to this board. Most of the scholarship winners come from the second and third boards.

This notification process seems to have gone back to the way it was done in the past, I guess what they tried for the first board didn't work out so well. Previously they did the online status update all at one time, looks like they did the same this board as well. If your status has remained "Boarded" then you most likely have been rolled over to the third board. I know the waiting can be stressful and I wish you all the best of luck. The best advice I can give is to get used to the waiting, there will be a lot of it during ROTC, waiting for CULP dates, CEIT dates, CLC dates, AD or Reserves, Branching, BOLC dates, Orders, and so on. Then you enter the Army and the waiting starts all over again. Hang in there and work on your Plan B's and C's, just keep the goal of becoming an Army Officer first and foremost.

Did you guys get text messages or emails saying that your portal has been updated like what happened when they sent out the tentative date for the release of winners?
