Hi all, New mom here! My son is a first timer (oldest) and I am new to this whole thing. I see some "shorthand" in some of the messages- therefore could someone when using one of the "alphabet soup" please let us newbies know what it stands for...Thanks,

Also wanted to thank all that have posted pictures and videos- it is truley comforting to see pictures and know that our loved ones and holding their own!

All the words of encouragement has been really helpful too!

Yeah...prior to DD/DS it was only the generic PC or Plebe...I think DD/DS entered the mix about two years ago.

Would suggest that you do not use your real name when on the forum. You would be surprised how many upper classmen read the forum and it would not be good for your DS or DD to have any reasons to be spotlighted, good or bad. They are all trying to stay under the radar.
