Does anyone know how long it generally takes to receive a reply from the Secretary of the Army regarding service nominations? I sent my information in requesting a nomination a few weeks ago. I've been checking mail, email and the portal since and I haven't seen any response. Should I expect a reply by next year when everyone has finished applying to the Secretary of the Army?

Thanks

I received confirmation of my Presidential and JROTC nominations in a month, max.

That's odd I haven't received notification yet. I'll have to try calling the admissions office tomorrow about it. My JROTC instructor mailed this form: http://admissions.usma.edu/Prospectus/ROTC_Nomination_Form_5-497.pdf after he completed it. I did not ship it myself because my instructor was leaving for a trip and only had time to fill the form out right before he left. He therefore shipped it himself. I also filled out the form under the nomination tab on the portal and shipped that. Are there any additional forms you sent that I did not mention?

Yeah that was the only form my SAI mailed. I just checked and it took about five weeks to show up on my portal from when it was mailed and I actually didn't get anything confirming through the mail until a couple weeks after it appeared online.

The Presidential, ROTCJ and RSCOM noms have just started to appear on the portals for our District's candidates.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll still call admissions later today and check to make sure they received it and everything. Hope I get a nomination!
