Selection Status Change

My DS has been in interviewee status for 6 weeks, he had his PMS interview in September. He was told it would be submitted for first boards because he thought he was a very strong candidate. As of October 5th he had all green marks and everything handed in, PMS said he had until October 15th to submit interview. DS spoke to him yesterday he said he would be submitting yesterday - DS said as of this morning he is still in interviewee status. Should we just presume that he will now not be considered on first boards?
 
I thought all information including the interview information would need to be submitted by October 5th? I don't think he was considered, but I could be wrong. Hopefully your DS gets included!!!
 
Go to his online portal for AROTC. Click on "application" and then the last tab. Does it say "board ready"?
My dd's dashboard says "interview pending", but is "board ready". There have been others on this site that have pointed out the same glitch in their application.

DS has similar glitch on AROTC portal. An earlier tab is yellow indicating something still pending but the final tab "selection status" indicates board ready. The PMS said everything is in. Portal gremlins.
 
Unfortunately, its still says interview pending and under "selection status" it indicates Interviewee. I guess the interview was not posted in time. Everything else has been in since October 1st.

Thank you for all the advice - DS is very frustrated since he made all deadlines himself and felt really strong about being submitted for first boards.

I heard most scholarships are given out in the 2nd and 3rd selections boards anyways. I'm sure you DS will be earning the scholarship since he sounds very responsible and it's things outside his control that kept him from boarding.
