I'll start with what I *think* is important - feel free to correct/change; I don't think this gives much away when looking at privacy - don't mention which district; the senators don't give away anything either except the state; seems private enough?

Submitted 10/1
Decision/answer received - 12/17 (rep) from TX
12/20 (sen Cruz) from TX
No response from Sen Cornyn

This way next year's candidates can have a relatively centralized database on "general timeframes" to expect updates

Why mention when you submitted it? That has absolutely no bearing on when they announce/award the noms which is generally based on the deadlines - either the MOC or the Academy's.

because if someone is arriving here checking out the process they might not realize how early some of the deadlines are; seeing that certainly shocked us and we got started early. With an overall nomination deadline of 31 Jan from the SA, I never expected the MOC deadline to be as early as it was. Just trying to help others but \_O_/

So is the date you mentioned as “submitted” in your original post the same as the deadline for one of the MOCs?

Yes, both TX Senators have 10/1 deadlines.

... and whatever happened this year may not apply at all next year.

Yes, both TX Senators have 10/1 deadlines.

In the 2019-2020 cycle (SA Class of 2024):
Cruz: Online but selected items may mail in; opened 04/05/19; RECEIVED by Friday, 10/04/19. NOTE RECEIVED BY!
Cornyn: MAIL in 1 hardcopy packet; updated forms available approx same time early April; POSTMARKED by Friday, 10/04/19

Both have SAT/ACT codes to send official scores
Cruz: 4 Letters of recommendation - NO SPECIFIC FORM
Cornyn: 3 Letters of recommendation, 2 optional - MUST USE Specific form and allowed to attach your LOR

Cornyn's forms were identical to recent past years
These dates are in-line with recent past years, usually available first week April, due first week October.

In any event, info is clearly posted on each MOC’s website.

I was actually thinking of this same thing myself, BUT it may be a different MOC in your/my district from year to year (or they may change how they do things). I guess the Class of 2025 (and beyond!!) will have suffer just as much as we are now, lol!
