Hi, our DS is applying for academies and nominations. One of his Senators requires official SAT and ACT scores and has their mailing address listed. However, no 4 digit codes. As far as he has been able to discern, College Board needs those codes to send scores. He emailed the nominations coordinator for the Senator asking for the 2-4 digit codes specific to the Senator's office. She replied with 1-3 digit code and a mailing address.
What am I missing? My gut tells me the coordinator is missing something, this is a 1st year Senator.
Thanks for the help!

Does it pop up in a google search?

“Senator xxx act code” or similar. Maybe it’s also listed within the testing site online?

I hadn't tried google, just did, the links don't open. Tried putting in the codes listed on google into College Board, they are for another individual, not her. We have tried inputting her name and state, and searching by District of Columbia and nothing pops up. Thanks for the ideas.

Solved!!!! Our DS called the Senator's office, they told him there was a glitch with their codes and to mail copies of downloaded scores from his portal on College Board.

It was a bit of a quandry, hate to follow 2 emails with a call to ask, "hey why doesn't your site have accurate info for me to apply for a nom?". He didn't want to appear to know more than they did. I just wonder how many other kiddos won't call or simply not complete that portion? They have no info on the application as to how to comply. He is at Boys Nation now and when he gets back will print and mail his scores. And he is waiting for a 2nd ACT that should be out by Friday. Yeah, I knew better than to offer to call, this is his ship to sail.

Having spent literally thousands of $ to College Board over the years (I like to think of it as legalized extortion), I feel that I have become somewhat knowledgeable enough to help out, in case it comes up again... When doing your 'sends' on the College Board website, you can enter the MOC's name and State in the college search. This will automatically attach the code.

I agree with you on the extortion part for sure. Let me try again, one of our Senator's provided info that worked. Our MOC hasn't answered his email yet regarding her codes, I tried the search but will try your method. Thank you!

Success! Dug a little deeper into ACT, name search didn't pull it up, but then my caffeine lacking brain found the dropdown with members of congress names by state (should have seen earlier) and $13.00 later, scores sent. Thank you!
