I submitted my NROTC Nurse Corps application back in July, but a few things have happened since then that may potentially help my chances of being awarded a scholarship (2 Varsity letters, appointed Varsity track captain, member of track and field conference championship meet team).

Is there a way to send this new information to the board and would it be worth it to do so?

Thanks for any input!

Why Not...

My DS was told by the area coordinator that if he had anything that would support his application to send it. He sent his acceptance letters from the college he got into, his 1st. qtr grades, another varsity letter, an update on a few ECA's, and his co-captain position from soccer. I have no idea if it helped but three weeks later he was awarded the scholarship.

All the best...

Look on the official NROTC website and all the information you need, namely contacts and the link to send updates, will be there.

I contacted the officer who did my officer interview and he said I could send all of my stuff to him and we would forward it to the NROTC peoples.

Well, last night I sent in an update with my new info and was greeted with the following email from them this morning:
"Sorry, but as of midnight Feb 14, we no longer take any updates, due to our website closing for this season."
So frustrating! I wish there had been some sort of posting on the site before I spent the time doing that. I just hope my original info is enough!
Thanks for all the advice.

Did you....

jwnavy,

Did you call your area coordinator? My DS sent his hard copy information directly to the area coordinator not to the posted web site email address. The area coordinator took it from there. Call your coordinator / recruiter!!

Good luck...
