Sending SAT Scores

I am in the process of applying to the CGA, and I have a couple questions.

1) How exactly do I send my SAT score? Scan a picture from College Board website? Send scores directly from College Board? There is a space on the application to upload a document. Would I leave that blank if I send scores from College Board?

2) I am applying EA by Oct 15. Will I be able to apply (send in my current SAT score) and then send in an updating score because I am taking the test again in Oct and will not receive score until after Oct 15? It says scores will be accepted until March 1, not exactly sure how that would work.

3) Is it better to get in your application sooner than Oct 15, or does admissions just look at them starting on Oct 15 for EA?

If you could answer any or all of these questions that would be great! Thank you so much!

1. SAT scores MUST come directly from college board. Although you can send in a copy if you would like as a back up.

2. Yes have the scores sent now. If you are taking again in October have those sent also. They will be looked at if they arrive prior to your application being reviewed.

3. Yes get application in as soon as possible. Do not wait until the last minute.

You should always upload self-reported SAT/ACT scores to your application since this allows us to schedule your DoDMERB medical examination and prep your record for review as early as possible; these score reports must be downloaded from the College Board/ACT website. Official SAT/ACT scores can be sent either directly from the testing agency (College Board/ACT) or directly from your high school counselor who can either record them on the official transcript that they submit or send them to our Processing Section or your Admissions Officer via e-mail.

Any updates to your record after you submit your application must be sent via e-mail to your Admissions Officer; official test scores should always be submitted following the process outlined above.

We're starting to review Early Action (EA) applications this week and will continue to read in order of completion until early December for EA and then start the process again for Regular Admission. It is "better" to submit your application as soon as you're ready for it to be reviewed and only you will know when that is; however, it's true that the earlier you submit/complete your application, the earlier it will be reviewed, and the earlier you will receive a decision.
