Senior Year Grades in the Admissions Process

Hello everybody! I am just wondering if anybody can speak more to the use of senior year grades in the appointment process. I received an email saying that the 7th semester transcript is only needed if they ask for it and not worry about sending it in unless required. Obviously one cannot just "mail it in", but can anybody speak to how much the senior year grades play a factor in the appointment process. Furthermore, if you enroll at any of the SA's will they want to see your senior year grades? Or is it once you're appointed and you accept then the next steps are just finishing up senior year while getting mentally and physically ready for Plebe Summer?

Senior grades are requested of some candidates. Not all candidates. Neither of my Mids had a request for senior year grades, outside of the “final transcript” request required by all ‘colleges’, to provide evidence of graduation. So, while you may or may not have a request during the application process for senior grades? Those grades WILL be part of your final processing for admittance.

IOW, you can’t, for example, accept an appointment, and then take the rest of the year off. Tanking your grades.
