Can anyone share when the Presidential noms may be offered appointments ? Is this a totally separate process for this category....?

Presidential nom recipients are generally offered appointments through that category after MOC appointments are given. That way, if an exceptional candidate has a MOC nom and still doesn't win the slate, Admissions can still give them an appointment. But, it's really up to Admissions. No one besides them is really going to know when an uptick in Presidential nom appointments is going to occur.

I agree, in general, with the above post. Some Presidential noms are selected early if they have an LOA... but they could, perhaps, be charged somewhere else later.
