Seventh semester grades?

Just wondering if anyone has any insight as to whether seventh semester grades are requested by the Academy if the candidate has already received and accepted an appointment. I believe that final grades will be submitted at the end of the year, but wasn't sure whether seventh semester grades would also be requested mid-year. Seems like the Naval Academy might just wait on final grades, but thought it worth asking about here. Any insight appreciated!

I wouldn't think they would care, unless the candidate skated in by the skin of his or her teeth, from an academic point of view.

If the candidate already has an appointment (and has accepted) this early in the process however, then it was probably because of being a recruited athlete and/or a Presidential nomination, right?

7th semester grades are not required of any candidate, unless USNA requests them. If you have an appointment, there is no need to provide them; USNA will request your final grades at some point. If you don't have an appointment and USNA doesn't request your 7th semester grades, and they're really good, you can always check with your RD whether it would be helpful to submit them.

Yes. And thanks for the feedback!
