Good evening. I had a quick question. On the security form, I was filling out where I’ve lived, and didn’t realize there are only 4 places to list. I’ve lived in several places. I have one spot left to list, but three more places - what do I do?

Also, I’m currently a dual citizen of Japan and the US. I was hoping to get another Japanese passport but am not sure how that would work since I heard people with multiple citizenships must give up their others when they join. Any information on this would be appreciated.

@wp25, did you read the instructions for the SF-86? I would be very surprised if you moved that many times in 2 years.

“List the places where you have lived beginning with your present residence and working back 10 years. Residences for the entire period must be accounted for without breaks. Indicate the actual physical location of your residence, not a Post Office box or a permanent residence when you were not physically located there. If you split your time between one or more residences during a time period, you must list all residences. Do not list residence before your 18th birthday unless to provide a minimum of 2 years residence history.”

As for your dual citizenship:
“Appointees who possess dual citizenship (both U.S. Citizenship and foreign citizenship) must bring their current or expired foreign passport with them to the Academy. As part of the security clearance process, you will be asked to sign a statement affirming loyalty to the United States and the willingness to renounce your foreign citizenship. Your foreign passport may be shredded during this time.”

You received an email with instructions that included who to reach out to if you had questions: Mrs. D.
Don't ask questions here. Send Mrs. D an email or call her. It is both her duty and her pleasure to assist you.
She is the expert and she is very kind. She wants you (and everyone in your class) to be successful and have a smooth process.
Also, it is already mid- to late-June. You don't have time for games. Call her on Monday.

The actual security clearance application (SF 86, eQip, etc) is electronic and expands when you add information.
One poster is correct, you only list the places you have lived in the last ten years, through your 18th birthday (if under 27) for 90 days or more.

The dual citizenship is a speed bump, not a stop sign, in your clearance process. Maintaining and using a foreign passport as a clearance holder is an additional speed bump.
