Congratulations to all! Daughter got her Congressional Nom the day she got home from Northwestern Prep, and a Senator's nom a week later. Got turned down this year by one Senator, but it only takes one.

This is our second year and I think it's even harder waiting than last year.

Hey Ben. Keep your chin up and Good luck with the Burr Interview! You're still on Rep Price's slate :thumb: ! I also got a reject letter from Sen Dole though letter said she will keep application in active status for USNA as alternate. My "GOOD" Christmas news was that I did get an appointment to CGA :biggrin: no nom required! Ben, where do u live? I'm also in 4th Congressional District, Orange County.

Big Thanks to all :thumb: ....S. got hisBLUE packet Thursday......he was gone all day...........almost stroked out waiting for him to show up and open it.....:eek: He's headed to CVW in March.....I'm headed out to Staples this morning to buy some bubblewrap....:thumb: :shake:

LOL You guys are awesome. I know we laugh alot at the whole bubble wrap thing but it really must put all the parents on tender hooks with worries of injuries before that all important reporting in day. With so much time left for kids to still participate on their sports teams, it'll probably keep ya'll watching games with one eye closed. :biggrin: Its all part of that 'wild ride'. I wish everyone a safe, happy, exciting time over the next few months. Yep, wrap 'em up then enjoy watching what free time is left just being "a kid".

Many congrats again to all who have posted good news here. I'm about as proud of your kids as you are! :thumb:
 
Update on Noms:

Got Doles' Dec 22nd, alphabetical no principal
Stll waiting on reps., but ALO said he got it (we'll see)
Burr's interview was yesterday, he had 2 slots avail for AFA, and only 20 people on the list for interviews...guessing he is giving principal so they outright asked why I should give it to you...again we'll see.

In the end we think...AGAIN, I SAY THINK s got all 3, of course in the end, he only needs that magical one!
