Should I be worried?

Hi everyone; I have a question for anyone who can help out.

I have applied to both USMA and AROTC. I was medically disqualified/waiver denied from USMA back in December. This triggered me to complete my AROTC application. I received an AROTC scholarship, under the condition I was medically qualified/granted a waiver.

Currently, my DoDMERB status has not changed in over 2 months for AROTC from "Pending waiver submission/review". I was disqualified for the same thing USMA disqualified me for.

Should I be worried it is taking this long to find out what is going to happen with the waiver? I see many here getting notified about their waivers and statuses changing, but mine continues to remain unchanged.

Thank you for reading and any assistance/advice you can provide!

I learned that the group that does waivers (medical, legal, etc) are very busy about now and I suspect they work in order of deadline dates, e.g. people starting in July go ahead of those starting in Sept. For that reason, I will tell you not to worry, but you will worry anyway.
In my DS's case the person in the ROTC unit to which he is headed was very helpful in finding out where his paperwork was at and she seemed to get it moved along.
