Shuttle going up

Today is a big day for the Goode family. Mike will be going up with the shuttle today after over 10 yrs of waiting. So I ask that you all say a prayer for the astronauts that they return home safely.

The shutle will be repairing the hubble, the mission is so dangerous for the astronauts, that they have a back up shuttle ready to go for a rescue mission.

Good Launch. I would willing give my left (pick a body part) for the chance to take what must be the greatest ride in the world. Add on top a Space Walk or Two. The ultimate thrill. It is amazing that the news treats this as routine. Our Prayers go with them all. Go Atlantis

July 20, 1969 Keesler AFB. Appollo 11. Over the Wall and after Curfew. Out the gate and at the nearest Bar with a TV. Pitchers of Beer, Tater Tots, Walter Cronkite and everyone in the world watching. "TRANQUILITY BASE, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED". Every Launch brings that back.
