Has anybody got there acceptance to west point SLS (now SLE)? I applied at midnight the night it opened and I still have not heard anything.

I applied the second day it opened and still haven't heard anything. I went to their admissions page on facebook and someone asked the same question, they said that everyone will figure out on February 1st. I know from the past people heard within a week or even earlier, but I'm not sure if they are doing the same thing this year.

One of my best friends and I both applied the day it opened, and neither of us has heard back yet. To my knowledge no one has heard yes or no so far

Ok cool thats good news, I was starting to think that I was just not accepted because last year they found out so soon.

If we are talking about the same Facebook post, then the admissions team said they would BEGIN to accept people on February 1, so that does not necessarily mean one would find out of his/her acceptance on that date, and possibly not until the application closes in April

True but they will probably send a letter out to the people that have already applied and then send letters out after feb 1st to the people who apply later

I'm a liaison officer and haven't heard of any candidates getting acceptances yet. I'll check the database when I can, but it appears to be down right now.

I saw another board that said that the first round of offers has been pushed back to Feb 14

USAFA Also

I believe that (Feb. 14 or 15) is the same date the USAFA is announcing all acceptances or declines for the Summer Seminar there. Important day for those applying to both!

I haven't seen anything yet either, my FFA said she would inform me though when she knew so fingers crossed.

Keep in mind USMA has 2 sessions while USNA has 3 sessions. My DS (dear son) did not get accepted to SLE last year but did go to NASS. If you don't get accepted to your first choice academy, that is not the not the end of the road. DS just had to work on getting his SAT scores higher. Took the test 6 times. Got the call last night that he is getting an appointment to West Point!
Best wishes in this process and don't be afraid to ask questions.

If we don't get accepted will we get an email? They first wave of acceptances are supposed to go out today, if we get denied will we hear that too?

TWE

DS received a TWE ( thin white envelope) beginning of April last year telling him he was not selected. They will let you know one way or the other.

My SAT scores aren't that good but I applied at midnight the day it opened. When did your DS apply?

2018 - don't expect to hear anything today on SLE - mid/late March is likely a more realistic timeframe with sequestration just going into effect, it will take some time for the ripple to reach WP and for them to finalize what is going to happen.
