Take the next ACT or SAT you can (if you don't have PSAT scores). You won't need much information or documentation to apply to SLS (if my aging memory serves, all they asked for were scores, grades and sports involvement). Also, if you aren't accepted, don't fret too much. My son was rejected and assumed it meant he wouldn't get in. A kind mom who was active on this board let us know that being rejected did not mean the end of the road, and so he applied - he is now a firstie. He did much better on his SAT's than his PSAT's and it made the difference.
His HS GPA wasn't great either - it is amazing what high SAT scores will do for a file.
Invest in the Official College Board Practice Guide (a BIG blue book available through the college board website as well as most bookstores). It costs about $20 and has five full length SATs. Once you take the practice tests, you can look up why a particular answer is wrong on the College Board website, which is extremely valuable in learning from your mistakes. Best of luck to you.
