DD did not go to SLE, but if it is like the regular admissions briefings, your parent(s) will be able to sit in on a briefing and go on a tour led by a cadet. I would also recommend the bus ride/tour from the visitor's center. They do a nice job. Also, stop by the Thayer and have a cocktail on the deck overlooking the Hudson. It was not open in the winter when we were there for DDs overnight, but I will bet its a relaxing place in summer. My parents would like to know what they can do at West Point (i.e. what will they do in the parent's briefing) when they drop me off. Anyone have any experience/insights about this? Thanks!
