SLE Questions

I completed my candidate questionnaire on February 1, does anyone have any idea when I should hear back from West Point, and also when the deadline is to hear if you got in or not? I'm just concerned because I haven't heard anything from them, and I would really like to attend SLE. Thanks in advance!

There has been one round of acceptances emailed out that included about 400 students. It is a rolling process. So there should be another roughly 600 + more to go out. I believe the date is by the end of March.

My DD applied on 2/10 and received emailed offer on 2/15. She then chose her session and was approved the next day.

My DS applied on Feb 1 also and we haven’t heard anything. We recently updated his ACT scores that he just got back and he did receive an email when he initially submitted his application that his interest in SLE has been noted.
I also heard that there was an initial group of 400 people selected on 2/15 but I haven’t heard of anyone else since then, so hopefully they will do another selection soon.
Many people on this site have said that their sons and daughters who did not get into SLE did end up at USMA the following year. So we are trying not to worry about it too much.
Also, my DS found out last week that he was offered a spot in the Air Force Academy summer seminar. So that was reassuring to him that he is on the right track.
