My flight arrives at 10:30 on June 8th(first day of Session 2), and I probably won’t get my baggage till 11:00. Will there be a shuttle bus to leave for WP as soon as I get my bags and be able to arrive on campus on time? I don’t want to miss anything, since I’d probably be getting there at the end of registration. Should I change my flight, and come in the night before and stay at a hotel to arrive at registration early?

Thank you. I’m trying to figure this out, so I can change my travel information if needed.

What did your instructions say as to when to arrive? If you fall in that time period, you are fine.

As long a you’re arriving in the prescribed window, you’ll be fine. The bus will leave when it’s full. You won’t miss anything. DD arrived about 2:00 and though she was late. She wasn’t and hadn't missed anything. Many more cane after she did.

Based upon my military experience, it's never good to be on one of the "early" busses...always good to arrive at the end of the recommended time. Anybody who has attended basic training will know what I'm talking about.

Can confirm; same way at SLE. I arrived towards the end of the reception period because I was taking the ACT the same day and did not regret it one bit.

There’s no penalty for coming late. I saw someone arrive around 11pm and they were totally cool with it. You really won’t miss much besides getting yelled at lol. And they only yell at you on the first day, the rest of the days are super chill and fun.

Last year at SLE the earlier you arrived, the longer you waited around. Also, no sleeping is allowed while waiting.
