GPA: 3.52 unweighted

PSAT:
Math: 770
CR: 690
Writing: 700

SAT:
Math: 770
CR: 710
Writing: 750

Also from eastern Massachusetts, very tough district.

Self Reported 4.0 GPA (My school doesn't go by 4.0 and doesn't have unweighed grades, no ranking)
All Honors, 4 AP Classes
Freshmen Class VP, Sophomore Class President, Executive Treasurer
Club President/Event Organizer
Lead Roles for 3 years in school productions
72 CR, 71 Math, 65 Writing PSAT
But I have no sports, planning on Outdoor Track in the spring but I've literally played 0 sports in high school

PSAT: M-55 V-60 W-65
Letters in cross country, swimming, and wrestling.
Choir, Student Council, Drama, Debate, Scouts, TSA, and BPA.
 
Does anyone know when you have to accept the offer by? The email said there's a date but I haven't found it on the portal.
 
Just thought I should chime in to ease some nerves! Some time in March last year, I was flat out denied acceptance to SLE. I've heard that some people may be wait-listed, so to be rejected up front hurt a lot. HOWEVER, I am now an appointee! If you do not gain an acceptance to SLE, it is NOT a big deal. Instead of moping about it for too long, use it as a motivation factor to better your application for the real deal (appointment). Ask for RC for ways you can improve your app, be proactive, and be motivated AT ALL TIMES.

Also, to those interested, I was also denied acceptance to USAFA's SS but that didn't affect my application either. Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions!!
 
Hi guys! I'm new to this forum, but after getting my SLE thumbs up on the 8th & my NASS acceptance today, I thought it would definitely be worth joining! I did have some confusion on which week of SLE though, because that's still showing up blank for me. Anyone else have that problem? I emailed the SLE contact in the letter but haven't heard back yet. Thanks you guys!

It should say in the SLE offer letter when you very first log into your portal (before you go to the SLE info page), and I think it's on the bottom left hand corner. Mine says it's due by March 10th, but I'm not sure if that's the same for everyone since notices go out at different times. Hope that helps! :)
 
frenzymando - BPA is Business Professionals of America, I think it is kind of like FBLA in some states.
TSA is Technology Students Association, we just do engineering and technical competitions.
 
Is it strange that my application is still pending? I applied several weeks ago... My friend applied and his was accepted in 2 days....
 
My son's app is still pending as well... and we returned all forms two weeks ago! Its a waiting game I am thinking..

Hey guys so a quick question... My week preference on my SLE portal just changed to session 4. Call me crazy but last time I checked there was only two sessions? Is this just a glitch in the system or should I contact admissions?

My son was accepted to SLE. However, he wasn't given a specific week. I think he is allowed to choose. Did this happen to anyone else?
