SLE

Same situation for me. I'm worried that the second email might come late or not at all... should I email admissions?

Was anyone able to get the number of years participating in each activity to propagate correctly in the SLE application?
My DD's just now reads zero year of participation in each activity, with no clear way to amend.

FYI: My son sent an email to admissions that he hadn't received the second email with login info. It showed up in his spam folder a few hours later, he just finished filling out the info.

Same thing here, played three different varsity sports and lettered the last three of each of them. Still says zeros in the years participated column. Thinking that this has happened to everyone, but could be wrong?

The profile for my DS shows zeros on the activities, but shows the numbers for the sports columns correctly. Not sure why. I don't recall there being number of years for the activities anyway when he filled it out, but then again, I didn't watch everything he did, just did a cursory check at the end.

Pretty sure this is happening to everyone. It happened to me and I just got accepted so I don't think it matters.

We logged in today to the SLE portal and saw that my daughter was assigned her preferred session. You might want to all check yours to accept so you can start ticking of checklist items.

Does anyone know if they tend to admit lesser qualified candidates to SLE later in the deadline period? I am the first to admit that I am less academically qualified ( due to my 3.5 GPA), but I think I am somewhat competitive in other aspects.

I don't really know know but my oldest got rejected from SLE 2 years ago on Apr 29 and then accepted on Apr 30. Academically he was pretty solid (and eventually got an appointment) but geography (military town in TX) is not in our favor. It might have a lot to do with who accepts in your area but I'm completely speculating.

I am not too sure how this process works. Admission sent us email two days ago to complete the application with portal link to login and asking us to choose the Workshop preference, shirt and pant size, and preferred session. Is that mean we hadn't completed the application first time around?

This is how my DS found out he was accepted last year…got this same email and text. It turns out his congratulations email went to spam and this one didn’t. So I think you are in, and this is additional info to complete your registration.

What do you mean the first time around? The CQ? The CQ was the first part of the process to apply for SLE. It will also serves as the initial USMA application. One you are offered a spot for SLE, a new application opens in the SLE portal to fill out everything you listed. This is great news because it means you have a spot! The most important part in the SLE portal is that you select your preffered week. After your week is confirmed, the rest of the checklist will open in the SLE portal. This includes medical, travel, liability, etc to fill out. All of that is due April 15th.

Anyone have trouble with emailing the medical questionnaire to themselves so it can be printed out and signed by network provider? Contacted help via website but still getting error that URL doesn’t exist.

I got an email that this was a known issue and they are trying to fix it.

Do we know how long we have to wait for before the status on the SLE portal to change after entering all the requested information?

Does anyone know whether the CFA mile at the SLE is run on pavement or track?

Also, last year when i attended SLE it was POURING. It was honestly an experience and super fun because all of the cadre were screaming at you saying they wanted to get out of the rain. It definitely beat the hot sun :)

To be honest, I like running in the rain more :)! It's like a natural coolant. I'm super excited to be going, I hope any of that haven't got the email yet get it soon! 🤞
