At what point during the week does the interview occur? What should you expect other then the anticipated 'why do you want to come to West Point?', 'why should WP choose you?', 'do you have any questions?'

unless they change it for this year, the interview happens whenever. it just depends on your squad leader, what you're doing during the day, or if you seem to have some extra time at night. mine was just random on the second to last night. and it really pretty much is those basic questions, though i remember being asked if i understood what things like the honor code mean, or if i understood what challenges i would face and what it meant to go there. nothing to worry about, just reflect on the experiences you've had there over the days and let those help to shape your feelings and responses.

like MChansard said, it just depends on your squad leader. my sgt started them on the second night we were there and went through a few people every night. it was a pretty casual interview; mine was done in grant hall while everybody was getting pizza. but from what i understand, this is something that will go into your file so it does play a pretty important role. the questions were pretty basic. they asked about my different test scores and leadership and athletic participation. they asked why you wanted to go, what got you interested in WP and also what makes you stand out from ALL the other applicants.
