SLS Travel Arrangements

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico so a good ways away from West Point. I am in the second session so I am scheduled to arrive June 5th from 9-3. I can not arrive at Newark until 6 so it would be too late to get the shuttle to West Point. If I go on friday what do I do, will there be somebody there to get us on friday? Would I have to stay there at a hotel in Newark then come back to the airport to get the provided trasportation to West Point? I have to use the provided transportation so anything else is not an option. Secondly is it possible to leave West Point on Friday and get back to Albuquerque before 6AM the next day? I have to take the ACT, so I really need to be back.

Transportation

Same thing happened to my son last year. We helped him make an advance reservation at a local hotel (Holiday Inn???) They had an airport shuttle so he took the shuttle to the hotel and returned to the airport the next morning for the WP transportation from the airport. Called the hotel to clarify that he was under 18, and hotel had a rule against under 18 checking in, but explained the purpose of the trip... "No problem"

It worked great. He got in late Friday night, purchased a Chicken Caeser Salad at the hotel gift/snack shop and was livin' large watching TV in his hotel room eating dinner by 1100 pm Friday night. good luck and have fun on your adventure.

Where are the cadets going to pick us up? The only flight I could get arrives in Newark at 6 AM, 3 hours before anyone will be there to pick us up. I don't want to accidentally walk past the place they'll be picking everyone up.
