What exactly is the acceptance rate for SLS at West Point? I thought I saw online somewhere that around 4,000-5,000 people apply and around 800 people or so are accepted. Thanks

According to the West Point website (http://admissions.usma.edu/FAQs/FAQS_summer.cfm) roughly 3000-4000 people apply, and 1000 get accepted (or actually attend).

So that puts the acceptance rate around 25%-30%.

Just pulled my notes from the "Batchelder Brief" that was given to us at SLS this June. LTC Batchelder told us that 4,201 applications were completed for SLS and they selected 1,142. That's a 27.1% selection rate. Good luck
