Good after noon SAF,

I know that every class at USNA is made up partially of second and third time applicants from ROTC units who spent a year or two at either civilian college or an SMC (senior military college).

My question is if anyone knows the stats on how many applicants from a certain school gets accepted to USNA?

Do more applicants who spent a year at VMI and then re-apply get appointments? Do more from TAMU, Norwich, the Citadel get appointments? Does it matter which school you spend a year at prior to re-applying to USNA?

Obviously I plan on speaking to admissions and to my AO about this but I'm looking for more information anywhere I can find it. I couldn't find any prior thread with any information pertaining to this.

I have been accepted to TAMU, VMI, Norwich and the Citadel and while the fact that I could potentially get a better chance of being accepted to USNA if I go to one SMC vs another SMC is a small factor in where I decide to go to school, it plays a role nonetheless.

Thanks,

MC
