Would you be okay with it if you were disqualified for telling them you took 3 hits?

I am glad that you were honest and forthcoming. These are good signs that you demonstrate the makings of a fine naval officer.

My observation is that the Admissions Office lives in the real world. A candidate's mistakes as a teenager, openly and freely admitted, pale in comparison to that candidate's demonstrated character and integrity. It shows you hold yourself to a higher standard than most of your peers in society. Resolve never to make those mistakes in judgement again and conduct yourself, in action and words, as true to that commitment. You will be fine. Oh, and btw, your parents were right all along: be careful about the company you keep, now and in the future. Best of luck to you.
