So what are your kids doing for the summer?

USNA summer swim camp? Great exposure to USNA.
Sir, he wants to be a SEAL and is training hard all summer for it. Kid is a machine. We have a 12 acre lot with rolling hills that he runs laps on every day, jumps in pool, swims 20 laps, then does as many wet pull-ups as he can, then starts his next cycle. He's motivated! Hoping for STEM this summer.

Sounds like you should sit on your deck and just watch. Best wishes for STEM camp acceptance.

I always like to mention the summer sports camps at the SAs, because it's a good way to get some exposure and a feel for the place.

I happen to be a ma'am, as are many former/current military members on SAF, but the courtesy is appreciated. While on active duty, I got a lot of "sir...MA'AMs." :)

Ubetcha Capt MJ. Great idea. My now plebe daughter did soccer camp there 10-11 grade summer and fell in love with USNA. It was new to us...did not know much about it at the time. She was never recruited but also never wavered in her desire to go there regardless of playing soccer there. Now thriving as a plebe and excited about all the future options. She also did NASS and CVW's but by then she was sure where she wanted to be. Now my youngest is going for camp there this summer! Will see what happens!!
