Quick question...will my ds be able to take the calc solutions manual to the textbook? Just wanted to be sure before I packed it up.

I would wait and see rather than getting your candidate in trouble. Take your guidance from him.

I'd pack that thing and use it the heck out of it. I can't see a scenario where they wouldn't be able to have something like that if it's readily available to anyone who choses to go buy it.

I'd agree with KP Eng.. pack it up.. You can always ask if it's permitted before you go through the door at O'Hara Hall to check in. If it's not permitted, you can ask that it be kept with your other gear until the end of indoc. Another option is to just mail it so it arrives right before classes start.. You're not going to need it until then anyway..
