My son just got his email accepting him for NASS for his requested session! :thumb: It gives some information and says that there will be an informational packet to follow. He did apply on the first day the application window opened.

Yippee!!

Congratulations to you and your son on his acceptance to NASS! My son was blessed to attend last summer himself. He had a good time there and met such interesting young people too. This summer he has been accepted into NAPS c/o 2010. Best wishes.

Congratulations. My son attended NASS last year and just received his appointment to USNA Class of 2013 on 2/14.

My friend received his today as well...I however am still anxiously waiting.

I just received my acceptance email into the NASS Session 2 this year!! SO Excited!

I just got mine, as well. I'm surpised, because I don't think that application sheet showed enough of who I am.

My son also got his email acceptance into NASS. He got his first choice which was 2nd session. He applied the day the on-line registration opened. He & the rest of the family are excited!! Anybody else from Ohio?????

NO new is good News???

Still waiting for NASS E-mail. MAN waiting for the regular application appointment must be a killer.

As hard as it is to wait, try to be patient. Remember, in the worst case, even if you do not get selected to attend NASS, it does NOT mean that you aren't competitive to earn an appointment. Many people who don't go to NASS DO get appointments, and vice versa.

WRT waiting on the actual application, yes, it is VERY hard, even for us parents! Just imagine, instead of waiting from 1 February to now, waiting from July of one year to May of the next! All's well that ends well, and the longer you wait, the sweeter it is when that big blue binder finally does arrive.
