Son said there is some big announcement coming Thursday.

My DS is going for his CVW this weekend, so I hope it isn't bad, "make everyone upset for the next three days" kind of news. :help:

That was going to be my guess. The current Supe was announced in April, 4 years ago, but I couldnt find if they had a prior "retirement" announcement or how it was handled.

Would you please stop trying to inject actionable Intel into a sea story thread? I've heard through various Captains who wear eye patches and say 'Arrrghh' that the Academy is going to be launching armed goats and sending them over to China using Navy Metoc balloons. 😮 🤥

I sent him or her a text about the subject matter. He or she immediately called me and told me something, while laughing at me for being an idiot.

We as well are having a brigade wide brief at USMA over gender relations at the service academies, I believe it is at all of them this Thursday, all staff and cadets are required to attend. So don’t worry too much about it, there was a lot of rumors floating around here too, but it’s the gender relations brief.

I will be shocked if this topic doesn't pop up as a separate thread with people pissed at what they think this means. The degradation of the Academies and society, and all such impacts on humanity. I would recommend that the cadets, mids, and any others who receive the brief keep the discussion to yourselves, as you are probably much more mature enough to handle the discussion than the culture warriors out here on the outside.
