Space A Info

Its not as easy as it sounds. However, my wife and I did get to Hawaii on space A many years ago. We were lucky that there were so many flights out of Travis AFB at the time. Not sure what things look like now.

I agree with USMC, especially if he has to be back by a certain date.
He would be at the bottom of the barrel from a priority aspect. If he has to buy a 1 way ticket back it could be way more expensive than a round trip purchased now.
It is even worse during the summer months because college age children of dependents stationed at Mildenhall or Lakenheath take priority.
My feeling is if you do this, be prepared to sit and wait at the AMC lounge, both ways. It could be a couple of days.
As an AF wife, I could use 1 hand over the 20 years that our friends traveled space A. IOWS, even the AF members did not use Space A
