Special Leave Considerations

Hi all. I'm in the USNA class of 2017, and I was wondering what the prospect was for being granted leave during the spring semester sometime. My sister is getting married, to her boyfriend who's in the Air Force :wink:. Any advice on this. I know that I would obviously have to have my grades and conduct to be in good standing to be allowed to leave for a weekend.
 
You would route up a special request chit through your company officer. There's no reason why he/she shouldn't approve it unless you're unsat in some area. Assuming the wedding is on a weekend, more than likely you'll get to leave the yard on a Friday after your LMO and report back on Sunday before 1800.

No worries, usually Company Officers are understanding about major family events like this, as long as you have everything properly figured out (how to get there, how to get back).
 
Thank you for the replies. How far in advance do you think I should request the leave?
