The best way to view yourself for an AFROTC scholarship is to make sure you are on par with the candidates that apply to the AFA.
The board does not know if the candidate is applying to the AFA or not, it is a pure WCS. So, shoot to be in the AFA parameters.
There is no silver bullet, you can have a 2400 on the SAT, and still not get a scholarship because you had no ECs and did poorly on the PFA. 60% goes to the PAR, but if you do the Math, you get every point for PAR and 0 for everything else, you are going to be on the low end of the scale.
