The University of North Georgia Corps of Cadets is nationally recognized for its leadership development programs. If you would like a taste of what it's like to be a cadet at UNG, consider attending a National Leadership Challenge Weekend. The UNG Corps of Cadets hosts NLC once a semester. Registration is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. Current college students interested in transferring to UNG may also attend NLC, but must have submitted an application to cadet admissions.

Upcoming dates are:
• 10-12 April 2015
• 13-15 November 2015

For more information and to register, go here: http://ung.edu/military-college-admissions/visit/national-leadership-challenge-weekend.php

NLC events vary from semester to semester, and may include activities such as basic self defense instruction, basic military skills instruction, and firearms training with military weapons.

UNG is a senior military college at the base of the Appalachian Trail. The Boars Head Brigade is one of the finest Army ROTC brigades in the nation, having produced the #1 cadet on the National Order of Merit List in 2014. Additionally, 30% of UNG's senior cadets placed in the top 10% on this year's OML.
