By any chance is there any wrestling for women in the USMA? I've been wrestling on my boys team at school for 3 years in highschool and I am currently in my senior year. Does anyone happen to know if there is women's wrestling or anyway a women can wrestle in the USMA? A club or intramural, something.

I would really appreciate a response.

First let me say, you go girl! Way to show that women can be tough too! Lol, but there isn't a women's wrestling team at USMA unfortunately, but if I were you I would get in contact with Coach Heskett to see if you would be able to wrestle. I've met him before and he seems like a cool guy. His email is joseph.heskett@usma.edu and he's the head coach. Wish you luck!

Go to the USMA web site they have a list of clubs that may interest you. The one I would recommend in your case would be the Grappling Team/Mixed Martial Art listed under hobby clubs. I used to do some MMA to keep in shape a while back; the people that gave me a run for my money were former wrestlers so it may be a good fit and may give you what you're looking for.

You can wrestle in intramurals, as far as I know.

Women can and do compete in IM wrestling (fall) and grappling (spring).
