Squadron Assignments?

Thought I’d post this again now that BCT squadron assignments are out. You can see what possible cadet squadrons you might get based on your BCT squadron and flight, that latter of which I don’t think we know yet. (Stole this from Shiner by the way ◡̈ )6D6E09A0-70BE-43DA-B359-AFAE14BBF91B.png

Question, Appointee handbook says to report to HAC 15 minutes prior to reporting time. Would this 15 minutes prior to the start of the 20 minute time period posted on our portals, or would showing up within the first five minutes of that time period count.

I believe 15 minutes prior to the window, this is likely due to the high amount of traffic from parents and other appointees. Better safe than sorry.

You will find out your BCT flight on I-day.
Parents - the AOG should have a sheet in Arnold Hall & at the picnic (Doolittle Hall) so you can look up the flight.

Your State/Regional Parent Clubs will also get a list as will the 2026 Parent Facebook page admins. Understand that it cannot be posted online due to security requirements & PII, so you will have to get the info directly from them.

Do all medical waivers require COE? I obtained a medical waiver but my report time correlates with my squadron, not when COE reports.

How is this to be read? My DS is Aggressor in BCT….

Depending on his flight within the aggressor squadron, which he will find out on I-day, he will be in academic squadrons 1-5. If he is A flight, cs-1, b flight, cs-2 etc.

Oh great I see thank you.

I’m looking at the instructions in the appointee booklet about the mailing address. It says to put your squadron number after their name in order to make it more accurate. As of right now we don’t know the squadron number correct? Are you saying he will get that on I-Day? How do we as parents find that out? And for those of us that are very new to this, could you write out an example of how the address should look? Want to make sure we get it right before we send it out to all family and friends.

One last thing, will my DS stay in Aggressors squadron his whole four years? I did see something about they change it up between sophomore and junior year …will he go to a completely different squadron?

Thank you!
