Starting a Club as a HS Senior

I am going to be a senior this coming school year. I had the idea of starting a cricket club (the sport) because I love the sport and many of my friends would be interested in joining and growing the club. While there is no formal cricket league in my area (unlike for soccer or tennis, for example), the idea is the cricket club would be students in my school playing for fun.

I want to mention on my SA apps that I am starting this club at my school. But because I will be a senior, will they really consider it, or will they just think I'm trying to "stack" my resume?

For the record, regardless of whether or not SAs will consider this in my apps, I will start the club anyways. This is also not just me trying to check off the athletic box; I also play JV Tennis (most likely earning varsity this coming season) and am Varsity lettered on my AFJROTC Drill Team.

If you like it and are interested in it, do it. If you are concerned that the SA will think you're trying to "stack" your resume, don't put it down.
Reporting that you did this one thing or not, is not going to be the deciding factor for an Offer of Appointment.

Just don't put an "s" on the end of "anyway" ! ;)

Whoops!

Do it because you want to do it..and make sure that it can continue into the future.
